Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Volley Beast (the "Game", available at volleybeast.online) collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and what choices you have. The Game is operated by the Volley Beast project ("we", "us"), operating from Ukraine. You can reach us at volleybeast.official@gmail.com.
1. Playing without an account
You can play as a guest without signing in. In guest mode we do not create a player record for you. We still process your IP address as described in section 3, because it is required to deliver the Game and to keep matches fair.
2. Data we collect when you sign in
Signing in is done through Google. We receive your name and email address from Google, plus an opaque account identifier. We never receive or store your Google password.

3. IP addresses and fair play
Competitive ranked results are only awarded when the two players are not the same person. To check this we compare the IP addresses of the two players in a match. If they match, the match still plays, but it does not affect ranking or rewards. IP addresses are also used to derive an approximate country for moderation and for the country flag shown on profiles.
For the approximate location lookup we send the IP address to ipwho.is, a third-party service. Only the IP address is sent; no account data is included.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Game stores a small amount of data in your browser:
- a session token in
localStorage, so you stay signed in between visits; - a cookie recording which sign-in method you used, so the correct button is offered next time;
- local settings such as sound volume and interface preferences.
Clearing your browser storage signs you out and resets local settings. It does not delete your account or progress, which live on our servers.
5. Payments
In-game purchases are processed by Tebex. Payment card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and never reach our servers. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase completed, the package purchased, and the player identifier it should be credited to.
6. Who else sees your data
- Other players see your display name, avatar, frame, flag, rank, level and match history, and any messages you post in the world chat.
- Google — sign-in.
- Tebex — payment processing.
- ipwho.is — IP geolocation, as described in section 3.
- Our hosting provider — servers and network infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. How long we keep it
Account and progress data are kept while your account exists. Match history is kept to support the ranked ladder and anti-cheat review. Chat messages and moderation records are kept so that reports can be investigated. Transaction records are kept as long as required for accounting purposes. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account and profile data; anonymised match results may remain where they are needed to keep other players' records consistent.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, write to volleybeast.official@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We will respond within one month.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
9. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in the Game before they take effect.
